Trying to remember an old adventure game?

This is a PC game from ages ago, which I lost and it seriously bugs me that I can't remember the name. The character is a young guy and you start off in an area with a pool. And there is a dolphin in the pool and I think you feed it fish. Then you have to type a code in a number pad next to a door to get through to the next room. The next thing I can remember about this game is that at some point you end up swimming next to a huge whale and you see its gigantic eye. I played this when I was a young kid, so I can't remember much more of it.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?
