i read this book in 6th grade(3yrs ago), anyways in the title it has maple in it- i am pretty sure, but from what i can remember this is the story
it was a man and his wife, who life on a bunch of land or farm, before they got married the woman went to new york, and missed this man so much, she came back to the land/farm, anyways i think they had a couple kids, and adopted 2, and this man and women love to whittle on their porch and sit in the rocking chairs,
PLEASE HELP ME! i know its not a whole lot, but i can remember maple being in the title... thank you! and i think there was color too like( the red maple etc etc.)
