Trying to open with Windows media center...?

I had to download a brochure for my camp. you click it to open it (it uses windows media center) and it brings you to the program, but there is no way to open the borchure. how do i do it?
 
You should look to see what file type it is.
Usually files will have an extension or part of the name of the file that tells you the type.
Ex. Brochure.pdf - Adobe Reader
Brochure.doc - Microsoft Word
