I am trying to learn a lot more about cars. I know a little and I find cars interesting, so I am just trying to learn more. If you know of any good sites I would really appreciate. Also any back round knowledge, or just you are great with cars. Thanks.

There is no such thing as "back round" knowledge about cars. Go to the library and check out a chilton manual for a common (preferably 4 cylinder) car, then read it and understand what it's saying. But realize you'll only learn by doing.

I would go buy a Haynes Repair Manual for the car you have now and read through it and maybe start doing your own repairs. You will find out things about your car and its parts that you never knew before.

Since we were kids, my Dad did a good job making sure that my brother and I knew about our vehicles and how they work and how to repair them. So I rarely take my vehicles in to get them repaired now, I do it myself or with my brother.

go to your local wrecking yard or junkyard and pick up something that might be salvagable, something typical of the type of car you want to learn about. take it home and tear it apart bolt by bolt, then put it back together. Read and follow the manuals and you will learn a phenomenal amount this way.
