Trying to hook a home theater and a ps3 to an LG lcd tv...?

I bought an optical cable for the surround sound to the tv and that is working but what about the ps3? right now the sound is coming from the tv and it stinks...any one have any ideas??
 
If you have the Home theater up and working, you might check to see if it has extra RCA ports. if so, you could take the Red and yellow from the PS3 and get sound from your HT system. you still should have sound from the TV too if you are using HDMI to connect the PS3 as sound and video run through both.
