Trying to get into a boarding school before sept. 2010, is it possible?

Basically, I want to go to a boarding school. Right now I'm in public school and I'm a junior (11th grade) and attend school in Los Angeles, CA. I just recently though of going to a boarding school however, I don't want to wait until september next year, I want to start as soon as possible. Preferably mid to late january. How would I go about finding a school that accepts students after the school years has started? Is it even possible?

P.S.- I can pay the full tuition and my grades are decent. I think like a 3.2 or something. I'd prefer something in California.
