Trying to find the right Nikon external flash (speedlight). What is best for me?

I am a beginner but want to have a big flash to give more even-light for my friends wedding. I have two used speedlights to choose from: SB 24 and SB 26 the SB 26 is considerabley more expensive. Which should I go for? If not these then is there a better one? I have a Nikon D60.
