I can't really remember much but from what i can, a young boy, maybe another person two, where cast aside from some space ship and landed on this world that is really torn down with bad technology and all he had was some kind of laser knife thing that can lengthen into a sword. He gets into some kind of fighting ring and beats this guy by cheating and is like the new leader or something. I know by like the tenth episode or something it fast forwards to a few years.
