It's a older Ford Cargo 8000 Tilt Cab with 5 speed,it has a range selector but it's not working.Anyways, I have no problem finding the gears without using the clutch..my problem is shifting into 1st gear from a stop.I practically have to slam it into 1st by jamming it forcefully, the noise is horrible! I tried revving the engine and if I'm coasting to a stop I ease it into gear.But then I have to hold the clutch through a red light.Is there a better way?
