I'm not sure if this will help but ny husband had the symtoms that you are going through. They did all kinds of testing on him and one doctor came up with something called wolf parkinsom white which was as the doctor explained the blood was not reaching the heart and was kind of like a short. He became out of breath from this and the doc put him on medication (quinadex) which has helped him. Hope I helped sherry

Here is my problem. I get winded very easy, sweat very easy and my heart rates jumps up very fast when I exert myself. I've had so many test done and my family doctor, my cardiologist and hematologist say that there is nothing wrong with me. I have been working out for about 5 years so I keep in pretty good shape. I don't do much cardio, but that shouldn't cause this issue.

I could be working on something very simple and I will start to sweat real easy, especially from my head. If I would say start running on a treadmill, I run out of breath fast and my heart starts racing.

After my family doctor sent me for different test and they came back good, he sent me to have a stress test done. The cardiologist was very concerned when my heart rate jumped up real fast as I start running on the treadmill for the stress test. He wanted to send me to the hospital and have test done on my heard. I went ahead and did it. They put me to sleep and put a camera down my throat to monitor my heart. I can't remember the technical name, but when I came too, the doctor who did the procedure said that there is nothing wrong with my heart.

I am still fighting with this issue. It seems like no one can figure out why this is happening. Like today, it was real cold out, about 5 degrees. I went and bought some roofing shingles, about 12 bundles. Every time I would pick up a bundle and load it in the truck, I had to stop and catch my breath. I got to the point that I was sweating from head in the cold weather.

I know I have sleep apnea and am not sure if that could be causing my problems since apparently I am not getting good sleep and I feel it too.

Anyone with some kind of idea of what my issue could be?

See, I think it is heart related. I feel like the oxygen is not circulating through my body. My first impression was that I had blockage somewhere, but after testing my doc said that I didn't. After all of the testing that I had, you would think they would have found something. I had a heart sonogram, (not sure of the technical name) I had the one test where they put some kind of dye in your system, EKG, stress test, sleep study and the only thing that came back was my sleep apnea. I am going to look into the wolf Parkinson white to see what I can find out. It is just so weird, I get winded very fast and I sweat like crazy when I get like this and get very fatigues fast. Please let me know if anyone else has any ideas.

Sherry, did your husband always have this issue? I know it started with me within the past few years. I never had this issue before.

Hi Izicc-no my husband was fine but all of a sudden when he was about 30. The sweating the heart beating fast and sometimes felt like he was going to pass out. When he went to the doc they put him through all the tests that you had but they also put him on a monitor for 24 hours-its like a mini ekg and they were able to see when the attacks came on. If you didnt have one ask the doc for one. Its very small a little annoying when my husband slept with it but was determined to find out what this was. Now my 32 year old daughter came down with it. She's not on medication yet because its not as bad as Georges. If you dont get any answers maybe you should change your doc. You may have faith in him but its always good to get a second opinion. Let me know how you are. Sherry

I did ask my doctor about the asthma and he said I don't have it. I don't weaze or anything either. I do cardio occasionally, it is just hard to find the time. I could see getting winded after a while, but it happens very fast when I exert myself, like within 15 seconds and the way I sweat so fast over doing just minor things. And my heart rate jumps up very quick very fast.

Yes, I did have that walking heart monitor on for 24 hours. It didn't show anything. Maybe I should consider trying another doctor. The issue's I am having can be very hard to live with. I'm can't really exert myself much at all. Thanks for all of your responses.

I don't know if this will help, but I thought I would post it anyway.

I too noticed that I got winded easily and my heart would start beating faster. I stopped this workout program I was doing because I got sick. When I started it back up I started noticing those problems. I figured it was the program. I decided to start going for walks instead. That did it to me too. Over the past few months I have noticed that I hold when breath when I exert myself. I have concentrated on this and saw that this was causing my problems.

when you had the heart monitor on, did you treat yourself extra special or did you do your usual work such as the lugging and other activities that you do when you are not on a monitor???

If you treat your day different wearing one, you are not getting the results seen.
