I had been on YAZ birth control pills since August 08, I switched about 2 weeks ago to this new pill. For about a week and a half now I have had completely tender nipples. Not the breasts themselves, just the nipples. I know that tender nipples is a side effect from birth control pills, a symptom of pregnancy, and a sign that your period is coming. However, I didn't think that since I've been on birth control pills for so long, that a simple switch in brand would give me that side effect. Especially since all birth controls make your body feel like you're pregnant. I could see maybe just starting the pill, but I've been on it for a while. Pregnancy, I could be. But the doctor said that as long as I take it the same time every day, going from one birth control pill to the next would be fine, and I would be covered. And since this has been happening for a while now, and my period isn't due for another 2 weeks, I'm sure it's not my period. Is there any other logical explanation for tender nipples? Or do any of these sound like they'd probably explain why? All serious answers are appreciated. 10 point reward for best answer. Thanks in advance.
