Trying to decide which bicycle to buy? courier looking for urban/cx/hybrid?

I'm looking at a trek kaitai, trek marlin29er, Marin muriwood and the 29er version, marin lombard. scott speedster p2 and the scott sub 20. I'm looking for a bike build for speed but at the same time take a beating. I'm a messenger and i'm just tired of track bikes. has anyone dealt with these bikes mentioned or owns one? need reviews
