Trying to decide between Cingular & TMO

I am going to be getting a blackberry and traveling as well with it.

What I need to know is Why is Cingular more expensive? I had heard that TMO adds things on that is why their plan is less expensive at first.

TMO looks enticing with its plans.

Please help
