Hello

After a life of horrible posture I started exercising well that helped a lot but still my back is sometimes sore! I notce that i often slouch forward and i never sit with my feet flat agaisnt the ground, nor do i sit with my back agaisnt my chair seat.

OK today I have decided to change my posture, I now sit properly at the computer desk and trying not to slouch while sitting & when i stand & but here is my problem!

I noticed a decrease in the pressure on my upper back but i noticed my butt has a lot more pressure on it! Is this normal to feel at first? when will it go away?

I dont have a fancy chair i just have those normal office chairs that are hard and dont move around, rock, offer neck support or have padding (made out of metal wood and carpet like material)

Hiya:

Not sure why your backside feels like you have more pressure on it, but have you tried putting a lurabar cushion on your chair? In the states at least you can get them in drug or medical supply stores or maybe you can order one online. You can get one that ties to the back of your chair and it will give you support for your back.

ALso, maybe you could get a doctor's note for work to state that you need a more ergonomic chair.
