Honestly, my credit is shot but my hubby says that we will just buy a home in his name. Don't add me because I don't work so there's no reason to look into my credit b/c I don't bring in any income. So, point is- his credit is low... probably 560 or something. I know we have to be in the mid 700's.to even be considered for a home loan. We have taken a loan from the bank for $200 that we are paying off (just to build credit, not b/c we needed the loan). And just recently he took a "payday" loan of $450 and paid it off in one payment. (ps: will that help credit b/c I was telling him it wont) Is there anything else you can think of to help us get our credit up? OTHER THEN pay bills on time. We do that... Thanks for your help.
