Next year, (Sophomore) I want to try out for a sport, but cant decide which. Football just isnt my thing, I was thinking maybe tennis, cross country, or something along that line. Any suggestion? I've never played a sport before and dont wanna make a fool either.

cross country is really great because you dont have to be the very best, and ull still make the team. Cross country teams need some people running that are more there to place well and get in the way of the competition. When i was in 9th grade, i was a middle of the pack runner. my coach always picked a fast girl for me to "bug". So my job was to, at the start of the race, simply get in her way, and then stay with her for as long as i could. this does 2 things, encourages you to run faster and also throws her off a little. every corner i would try to get in her way so she would have to run around me...taking more time.

You should try baseball if they have it, you get to run around and catch. and the best part is hitting. It just sounds fun since i played it in P.E.

depends what you like lol.
NO ONE can call football people wimps (except for punters or something....sry punters!) and you grow lotta muscle. unfortunately you have to gain some weight if u linebacker or maybe runningbacker or something.
tennis sure is a workout!and it keeps you really fit too ( i play tennis)
but no chance for like big muscles or abs or something like tht.
cross country my friends say its pretty good.
baseball is so BORING! and it doesnt even give you a workout of any sort. yea u need to be strong to play it but it doesnt give u a workout. PRATICING baseball is a different thing though.
soccer.....idk i dont play soccer my friends dont play soccer so idk.
hope tht helps!
