Try to solve a Murder Riddle?

On a Saturday afternoon, like at 2:00, a woman named Delilah was found dead on her bathroom floor. When her daughter Andrea (15 years old) was going to use the bathroom, she found her mother on the floor. She screamed and said," O my god, you guys come quick"! The father came, along with the staff and children and they all were in shock. The father called the police and they came right over as soon as possible. The police found that the mother had got stabbed several times and she got punched in the eye. The police asked them questions like:
Do you know if your wife had any enemies?
Where were you during the crime scene?
Did any of you have anything to do with this?

They all responded no to the 1st question.


Husband: I was getting the mail. (He recently had a fight with her about her parenting skills. How she always lets the kids curse and she spoils them too much. She told him to be a better father and actually spend time with them).

Butler: I was making preparing a meal. (She recently critized him on his cooking and told him to learn how to cook better or else she'll hire a new one).

Maid:I was vaccuming the living room floor.(She recently told the maid to learn to fold the clothes better. She always leaves them wrinkled. She also told her to stop giving her attitude and stop talking back to her when she should be cleaning).

Andrea (14):I was watching t.v. in the living room (They recently had an argument about dating a bad boy in the neighborhood. She told her to break up with him and to stop thinking, calling, and texting him. She also told her daughter that she read her diary and how she's so shocked that she lost her virginity with him).

Megan (17):I was getting ready to go see my boyfriend. We were suppose to go to the movies. I was going to ask the maid how do I look, when Andrea screamed. (Recently they had a fight about her personalty. The mother was talking about how Megan is acting like a bitch. How cursing shouldn't be a habit. How she should stop pushing me onto a point were I just blow up. To just stop being rude)

They claimed to have nothing to do with the crime that was commited, but the police told them that someone in this house had to do it because your all suspects. The police eventually found out who did it and that person is in jail. By the way the neighbors have been on vacation for about a week now.

PLEASE WRITE DOWN THE PERSON WHO YOU THINK DID IT AND SAY WHY! DONT SAY THAT THE NEIGHBOR DID IT OR SHE COMMITED SUICIDE!
P.S. He forgot to pick up his mail for several days so he picked it up on Saturday
I meant to say that Andrea watched television but then went up stairs to use the bathroom.
 
The maid and the butler have no motive, they can always get a new job. Megan was going to ask the maid how she looked, which means the maid knew where she was, therefore the maid would've known if Megan was lying. So only the husband and Andrea are left. But Andrea seems the most likely to have committed the crime as her reaction was pretty mild for someone who found that her mum died. Therefore I say Andrea was the culprit.

BTW Why does it first say Andrea is 15, then 14?

edit: Also, the husband wouldn't need a knife to kill his wife as males tend to be stronger- strong enough to kill her without needing to stab her repeatedly. The black eye was enough.

edit: i think they all did it because they all said no to the first one, answered the second one, but didnt answer the third question. lmao idk

edit: oh wait, never mind. they said they had nothing to do with it

edit: i think that andrea did it because she got into a fight with her, and thats how she got the black eye and all.

edit: i think it was the dad, because he said she lets the kids curse too much, meanwhile the mother and the daughter had a fight, and the mother said cursing shouldnt be a habit. the father is obviously lying or something fishy is going on..........
 
There IS mail on Saturdays... but not on Sundays... so this very well could have been the truth...

I think the butler did it... if you think about it, what butler lets his employer into the kitchen to get a knife? She was stabbed to death, and he had access to the murder weapon.

But, they could have all (except Andrea) been in on it. I say except her, becasue had it been her, she wouldn't have screamed when she found the body... she would have kept quiet and waited for someone else to find the body. But, there were multiple stab wounds, and a black eye... She probably got in a fight with one of her daughters, and everyone else went to stand up for her...

Or maybe, just maybe, she has a son who killed her because he got left out of this story. lmao


*and to Drew... butlers do prepare and cook meals!
