True-Track for 2009+...why?

Interesting how there is always some one around to tell you that your bike doesn't have a problem because theirs doesn't have a problem, kind of like telling me all indians walk in single file because the one you saw did!
If your bike has a wobble because of the particular way you ride, and you feel that it could benifit from some sort of brace then get a brace, and be happy you did, if you don't then don't, just because my bike might or might not have a certian symtom does not mean that some one elses does or does not, I bet there are a lot of pre 09 bikes out there that do not have braces on them, and their owners are happy as clams, doesn't mean the ones that do didn't need them, and as for "I thought the new frame was supposed to fix that" this wouldn't be the first time we have been told something by a manufacterer just to sell something, oh wait isn't that what the brace builder is supposed to be doing?!
What will be interesting is in the future how many 09 owners end up putting braces on their frames.

Hi, Re; "What will be interesting is in the future how many 09 owners end up putting braces on their frames" will have nothing to do with how people ride or any problems with the bikes geometry....whilst there may be some as you say think they need it but there will be a lot coerced by marketing that will buy cos thats what a lot of peeps do.
HD testing is immense both in factory and rolling outside, you think a "major" problem like this might not have been picked up...a bike is one of the simplest of machines and harleys one of the least complex of bikes. As others have said there are several reasons a bike may not move as anticipated, some due to tyres, shocks, rider weight and rider experience. Personally I like to feel my bike move about a bit, I call it feedback and it gives me an idea what I can expect from it. One of the biggest surprises is that the moco haven't latched on to this and begun to sell them as a $200 accessory....or maybe they dont think they are needed either?
Just my thoughts, all the best.

We who have ridden the rubber mounted h/d bike know there is poor handing at times. What the true-track offers is a better handing bike. Most important you have control of your bike.
Forget high speed wobbles, the bikes handle loosely at all speeds. To get the ultimate harley ride and handling, install a True-Track and you won't believe the different in your bike. Most comments are about he cost of the unit. We spend $800.00 to $1000.00 dollars for exhaust systems to be cool, what about being safe. Most common riders comment, is my bike never does that. Why True-Track? we have thirteen years developement in our product, all our components we make, except the bolts and washers. That mean no short cut were taken by our staff. All of True-track components made in America and now patent.

I take exception to a comment that the 09 and after would need your product. Harley has been making their machine for over 100 years and constantly making improvements.

You still cannot provide a quantitative analysis or interpretation of all your claims.

As I have stated in a previous fire storm thead that a past associate or girl friend started, "I truely wonder how many accidents your company have caused by giving inexperienced riders a sense of confidence their abilites do not posses".

Granted sell all the units you want but do not fabricate an issue that does not exist on the 09 and after bikes. Again relative to the 09 and after don't berate a product that is trurely "that good".

Most issues are riding aptitude not mechanical.

There are no issues with the 09.

Just wondering is Ragdoctor Ron or Wills former girlfriend

Real intersting reading from the middle and beyond. Since then just don't believe what Trutrack or Ragdoctor has to say.

I have never seen a factory anybody (HD, Ford, Schwinn et al) produce a product that is the best that can be offered. If that was the case, there would be no aftermarket.
With my riding experience (42 years of street riding, road racing, drag racing) I feel I am a above average rider, even at my age. I am in tune to what my bike is doing under me, getting that feedback. I installed a tru track to tighten my bike up better than it was before the installation. Did it help? You bet. Did it get all the wobble out? No, but when the bike gets into the ocillation situation, it recovers a lot faster.
I'm on the road this weekend. Yesterday near Milano, TX on US 190, I went around a long right hand sweeper. I got into one of those crack repairs. The bike wobbled once and tightened up. That's what I want. I don't think with the design of the frame you'll get all of the ocillation out. But making it managable is an improvement.
Spend your money the way you want. You earned it.

well I have an '09 Ultra with a 21/18 wheel combo and get the wobble at times. I am considering putting one on it this winter. I am definitely going to put one on my Fatbob in a few weeks.

Just my view but if you want the fatbob to handle, (at speed), change the front end or add a brace, I had no problem mid to rear with mine but in fast bends always had trouble getting over that front wheel....
No worries
