No. Stars like the sun do not supernova until about 10 billion years after nuclear fusion starts. More massive stars would take a shorter time, in the range of a few million years, but there are fewer of them, the majority of the supernova explosions would not happen for at least 10 billion years. Sun like stars, and lower mass dwarf stars are more common in our galaxy and in the local group than any other star. They are slower burning and longer living.
