I traded in my 1998 f:250 today for an 2004 Ranger.
Been driving it around all day and I love it. It just has a base radio with just FM so I bought a new radio, dash conversion, and wire converter kit. Installed it with out a problem.
When I went to start the truck, nothing. Wouldn't turn over, no clicking, not a sound.
Called a friend, he said it's got to do with security but he's not sure how to fix the PAS system. Might be because of the key? I wasn't given a spare so I don't know about that.
Also might be because something to do with the radio wiring?
Any ideas?? I really need it fixed my morning.
