I'm going to graduate high school in may, 2011. I've been thinking about truck driving since i hate having a set in stone home and average commute for work. I had a few questions about the army and their 88m MOS.
-High chance of getting killed by IED's? Will it help me much after i get out and look to get hired by a good trucking co.?
How was your personal experience in the military? Frankly, i love the idea of driving trucks around and stuff, but i'm petrified of IED's car bombs etc.
-Would you recommend i join the U.S. Army and get the experience there and all that, or simply save up and go to a trucking school? Bombs and death scare me, are IED's still as common and/or deadly?
