I just bought a new HD LCD TV (Sharp Aquos LC42D65) last night to replace my old CRT TV. After setting up the new TV and reconnecting my 4100 receiver to it, I immediately started getting some weird behavior with the remote. The remote is no longer as responsive as it was before I disconnected my old TV. It usually takes two or three button presses for the action to occur, even with the remote held right up to the IR sensor in the receiver.

I didn't have enough time last night to investigate much further. Has anyone else suffered something similar? If anyone has any tips for me to diagnose/fix this problem by the time I get home tonight, that'd be great. :)

I currently have the receiver plugged directly into the TV via S-video cable (identical to my previous set up).

Well known IR interference issue. Please see the following post for an explanation and what to do. A proper optimization of the TV will probably solve the problem.

Thanks for the link; I'll check it out. I searched all over these forums before posting, but I guess I didn't use the "right" words. :-P
