Trouble swallowing Prozac?

Recently I've been having a weird time taking my Prozac. I can swallow the pill fine, BUT I get a feeling like it's still sitting in my throat. I will feel it and drink a lot of water to make sure it goes down.. I take it at night, so drinking a large glass of water or a full water bottle before bed has interrupted my sleep since I have to get up to use the restroom several times per night. Even with all the water, I still feel the feeling that the pill is in my throat. I don't have this happen with anything else. Last night I tried wrapping the pill in bread and swallowing it wrapped up. So far it seemed to help. I noticed that one time I coughed and I felt the pill come back up. It's a plastic capsule, so it is possible that the pill can come back up more easily? What can I do to help? I take Prozac at night because taking it during the day while eating was giving me heartburn and acid reflux, plus I was much drowsier. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :) Maybe I'll keep trying the bread trick!

I have the same problem with any pill I take.
The thing that works best for me is just one swallow
of a cola after the water.

Thanks I'll give that a try! For me, it's ONLY the Prozac that does this, so I'm not too sure why. I'm guessing it's the plastic-like capsule, rather than a gel tab or tablet. I noticed that yesterday I felt fine after taking a different pill immediately afterwarRAB. I felt that the 2nd pill pushed down the Prozac and I could feel it moving down much quicker than usual. I wonder if this was why I was getting acid reflux not too long ago- maybe the pill really was in my throat for too long! I'll definitely try soda or something different and see if it works :)
