After my surgery, I reherniated and didn't know it, and I'd get the sensation that I'd haveto go, and get to the toilet and right before it'd start to come out- it'd disappear, sensation and all and I couldn't go. Nothing helped and I had to goto the ER to be cathatered for a few days. I know they ask with herniations and such if you have problems going, depending on your condition its worth a call to your dr if they do not know already or if this is something new. Better safe than sorry. It is good that you DO get to go, but I would question it overall with back issues.
