I have a 1994 mazda b3000 pick up, 6 cyl, 2 wheel drive. I've removed the 3 bolts, and the nut that holds the wires in place. But i can't get the starter out of the mounting hole. I've banged on it, tried to pry it loose, drove a flat head screw driver between the starter and body, but its still stuck. Is there a trick to removing this thing? The manual says to just remove the nuts and bolts and it should come out. But i swear it's welded in place. I can wiggle it a tiny bit, but i can not make it come loose.
