Trouble installing Google Chrome?

Also having a Visual C++ Runtime error with my Corel PSP and can't install Internet Explorer 8 either which those may or may not be related to it. I used to have all of these things working on my computer and within the past few months they stopped.
I get this everytime I try:

Tried and it says installing failed.
Or "Installation Failed".
