I've put this question in before, I will try to explain it better this time. My comp. has 1 HD & it's connected to the second connection on the IEEE cable, not the first, which I think it should be on the first. I was advised to change the boot to the HD first, which I did, & hit F10 & exit, but it didn't save my changes, when I went back in to change it back. it was already back. Now my comp. has a 2 HD bay, with the connection already there, so I put the new HD in the bay on the first connection, which is open, & hooked up the cable & power supply plugs, & booted. Now in the BOIS the first & secondary, are set the auto detect, so when I booted, it when to the BOIS first thing, I was puzzled & back out, turn off the comp. & unhooked the drive, & booted up, & it booted to the desktop. What in the heck is going on. Need some help please.
