Sorry, i forgot to mention its a freshwater fish tank!
my mothers Red Devil recently passed away. She was swimming upside down for days at the top of our 55 gal. tank. she also had some tail rot, we treated her with medication everyday, but slowly she died. We assumed it was from rather old age. she was about a foot long. and about 6 inches wide. when we bought her she was around 15-20 the pet owner said. we've owned her for quite a few years. Now we've started a new fish tank, same water that she was in, but i cleaned it for 3-5 days before even buying new fish. This time we have angel fish and the proper tank mates. But, one of the dalmation mollies are swimming upside down, this time down at the bottom of my tank, and a few other fish have passed on too! We've treated our tank numerous times. i've researched the internet for any possibilities on what could be causing this. Please Please help if possible.. i was so excited on starting a new tank, and now i'm worried i'm Just killing helpless fish.
