My driveway crunching neath my feet
laid out with leaves from pecan tree
I Sweep them up, must I repeat
yet they still fall, continually
Air is cloistered sticking to my skin
a spider web has caught me now
my inhibitions growing thin
the wail that emanates a howl...
Because I feel again that rain
one day has not gone idly by
it grew my lawn I can't complain
from whence it came a murky sky
Fall colors floating on the breeze
I trip.. It’s fall, I skin both knees
life is not all pretty .. skinned knees are a reality .. no? as is falling.. gracious.. oh well I did say tug.
