I was thinking about ordering some eggs and I was wondering a few things.
1. I know they are cannibalistic towards triops that are smaller than them, but if I were to move the larger ones to a different aquarium would I be able to keep generations of them? They only live a couple months and I would like to have more for longer without reordering.
2. Will the larger triops do ok with fish? I have a 50gal of small community fish (platys, mollys and such) so im sure they wont bother them although I am worried about my betas (I have 2 males and 3 females in the tank) but they dont pick on the other fish or snails so I thought they might be ok. Then again I recently bought 2 clown loaches to keep the snail population under control and they do a good job at that so that worries me however full grown triops will be too large for them to eat (they are very small loaches)
3. does anyone know of a good website to get them from? I've been thorough a few with guarantees and free replacements with no questions asked but which provides the healthiest/longest living I do not know.
