Trinity Blood DVD volume 1

What did people think of this first installment?? I began watching it as a part of a favor and I'm not impressed much at all, hopefully it picks up as it goes. It's good but not great, I don't see the point in buying volume 2...

You have to watch them like a movie to get it. Read the light novels to get familiar with the characters. I think this series was made for the people who are familiar with the material. I like it, but I also like vampires and christian mythology so that may explain why you don't like it.

Buy the whole series box if anyone is interested. It will probably save you some dough. Each disc has 4 15-minute episodes, and you can probably get the whole cheaper than buying the 6 discs individually.

Im not really into religious storylines, but I do enjoy some light vampire stuff. I guess it's not really my kinda series. What do others think of volume 1???

Here are the first four episode talkbacks from when it aired on [adult swim], courtesy of Speedy Boris.

It seemed as if people who didn't get into the series at first never really got into the series at all...so I personally wouldn't recommend picking up more episodes.

If you really didn't like Trinity Blood, I kinda recommend you not force yourself to watch anymore episodes, it would be the best in my opinion

The first 7 episodes are quite weak, but once you hit episode 8, the series gets really good despite its cop out ending.
