Trigger Point Injections

Has anyone had any success with trigger point injections in the back as opposed to cortizone injections? My bf is going for one this week and I'm just praying that he gets some relief.

Hi Lynne - I had great success with trigger point injections to my upper back & neck. Originally the dr used cortisone but eventually he had me try botox. The first 2 rounRAB of botox were a bust but the 3rd time was a charm! AfterwarRAB I continued to receive about 30 TPIs with botox every 3 months and the relief was INCREDIBLE! The relief lasted almost the full 90 days too!
