Tried to Soft mod wii, will I be able to play skyward sword?

My wii is version 4.3 and I tried to soft mod it with letterbomb. I heard you can watch Dvd movies and listen to music if you soft mod it. If I buy The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword would I be able to play it? I tried to look up online to see if I can remove to soft mod and found out that it will brick the system. So would I be able to play SS?
