Are there any fans of voice actress Tress MacNeille, best known for voicing over the years Babs Bunny, Gadget Hackwrench, Dot Warner, Daisy Duck, and many other cartoons as well as working with Weird Al Yankovic on parody songs like "Ricky"? I ask this because of her named plugged/mentioned twice in the recent "Simpsons" episode.
 
Tress MacNeille is been one of my favorite voice actresses:D over the years from doing kid's cartoons to adult cartoons which my favorite characters from her voicework were Queen Merla(Voltron),Gadget,Babs Bunny,Dot Warner,Charlotte Pickles,Colleen(Road Rovers),Agnes Skinner,crazy catlady & Lindsey(Simpsons),Pepper Mills,World's Oldest Woman,Arnold's Grandma(Hey! Arnold),Fang(Dave the Barbarian), & Hoodsey(As Told By Ginger) and her pretty girl,old lady, & little boy voices she did were amazing.
 
Tress is always reliable to put in a good performance. Is she the one who does the "MY BABY!" line? I'm pretty sure she is, but I just want make sure.
 
She plays a fantastic Lucy-- and alongside voicing her for Al's song (and playing her in the music video), I loved hearing her voice the Lucy ghost when she appeared to Lisa Simpson, though that time she sounded a lot more like Agnes Skinner.
 
You gotta enjoy her performances on Futurama (Mom, etc.) and I reckon that if it weren't for her and Maurice LaMarche, there'd be about three cartoons on the TV nowadays.
 
Tress is great at her job. I can't think of a single voice she's done that I've never not enjoyed.

No offense to April O'Neil's VA on the original TMNT cartoon, but I can't help but wonder what Tress would have sounded like in the role, especially bouncing off of Rob Paulsen's Raphael.
 
I dunno. I can't stand most of the newer or one-off Simpsons characters she voices these days. Like everyone else in the cast it sounds like she doesn't even try.

If there's any character she does on the Simpsons that I outright hate it's Lindsey Nagle. Am I the only one that cringes when she shows up? When Maggie Roswell was on the show the female characters at least had more variety. But now it feels like every tertiary female on the show is voiced by Tress, and they all sound the same. Even worse are the children's voices she does, which also all sound exactly a like.

But I love her on Futurama, so go fig.
 
Did she? Jean Vanderpyl continued to voice Wilma up until her death in 1999. I don't who took over the voice after that, but Wilma never sounded like Tress to me. I'm not saying that you're wrong, just that I personally never heard that.
 
I like her as Dot on Animaniacs,Agnes Skinner on The Simpsons,and Mom on Futurama....She has a pretty decent range,judging by all the characters I've heard her voice through the years...
 
I'll give you that, but only because Lindsey is shoehorned into a lot of episodes and ends up coming off as a very annoying character. At least at the start she was obviously the corporate slave who would never fulfill her ambitions and as part f the audience, I took a lot of enjoyment from that. Now, on the other hand, the character is much more one-dimensional and serves more as a stock replacement.
 
I adore her, I think she is amazingly talented. She plays some of my fave characters like Dot and Daisy. She does Chip really well aswell. I love also watching the extras of Animaniacs and her bouncing off Rob and Jess. She is hilarious!
