I am doing my research as I've got another month before I get my new phone. Looking at the Treo 700w, Moto Q and XV6700.
I'm really looking for the following features:
-I want the ability to put video on the phone, ie. not download it from VZW
-voice memos (I'm a budding stand-up comedian and want the ability to record material at a moments notice)
-mp3 player
-read ebooks
-install and run free apps that I run across
How hackable/customizable is each phone? I know the Treo 700w has only a 240x240 screen, which I'm not thrilled about. I like the fact that the 6700 can go into landscape mode (closer to 16x9 video), but see problems arising with the sliding mechanism.
What are your thoughts? (other than ditch VZW...I would but my whole family is finally on one carrier and I like the in-network free calling)
