Travelling to New York City for 9 nights end March and looking for good hotels.?

Been looking around for hotels found alot of options but can't seem to pick one. Does anyone have any good suggestions for nice, clean hotels situated in the centre. Was looking at St.Giles Tuscany, St. Giles The Court and Flatotel. Are these good hotels?
