Traveling Visa...Jail...can u still travel..?

I know that if someone lives in the UK and wanting to go to the USA but have been in jail because of murder or something.they will find it hard 2 get entry to the USA..

But does that apply if you live in new york and where arrested convicted in New york would the person still be able to travel to say dallas, or LA?
 
anywhere in the US , they wont let you in because of that... so i doubt that person will go in the US. but you have chosen the wrong section for this so i recommend ask this in the travel section, i'd imagine..
