Travel trailer towing 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 w/ a hemi and tow package?

What is the largest travel trailer I can tow with my truck without it being a big strain on the engine and suspension? Thanks for your help!
 
Size is not the issue, weight is. You ask about the largest, but how much does the largest one weigh? Your owners manual has an entire section devoted to this.
 
A 2004 Ram 1500 is rated to tow up to 7600 lbs with the proper hitch and trailer brakes. That is the total weight of the trailer including cargo, water in holding tanks, etc. This would be equal to a 24-26 foot trailer, but it's best to stay on the light side with a 1/2 ton pickup.
