transporting a bike and wondering if this will work.

So I have been looking for a cheap sport bike carrier to mount horizontally on the end of my jeep and I found one that is $90. It says it has a weight capacity of 500lbs and my bike is a gsxr 750 and it weighs 440lbs. I found a very similar one on cabelas and it have a rating of 500lbs also but it says do not load a bike over 450cc due to uneven weight distribution. Do you think I will be fine or has anyone else done this before?
 
The manufacturer is telling you not to do it, which is pretty much all you need to know. The GSXR750 is intentionally designed with more weight on the front wheel, so it will twist the carrier to one side. That, combined with the narrow margin of weight capacity, would make the carrier very prome to bending or breaking as the Jeep bounces over bumps, uneven pavement, or even just the expansion joints on a concrete interstate. Those carriers are really just intended for dirt bikes.
