high milage 2000 chevy v6 4.3 conversion van. Tranny was done a couple years ago and hasnt giving me any issues, yesturday i noticed a slight stutter in between shifts, pretty mild, then this morning when pulling into traffic and giving it gas she spun like i was in neutral. Shes fine off a stop light, but acts like she doesnt want to shift into second unless I let off the gas, then once shes shifts shes ok for normal acceleration, but if i give it heavy gas at all, she'll just slip. the biggest thing is she acts like she doesnt want to shift up.
Sound like my torque converter? or possibly one of those electronic things as it's aode, or does it sound more like my bands are slipping and it's shot, I've noticed for a bit of a while now she revved a bit high before shifting, but not overly high, just higher then most my other vehicles, i got this one used like this and just figured the model, now she wont shift unless i release gas and coast it. But she'll still slip once in gear.

Whats your opinion folks, appreciate it.

(fingers crossed on torque converter...lol, and if it does sound like the torque converter, how much labor time is on that would you guess, i've got a good tranny guy that charges 30 an hour)

lift up the radiator cap and drive a real van under it ( honda, toyota) nothing american made
