This morning my 01 Ford Ranger would not move from a stoplight. The engine would rev, but not move. Brought it to the mechanic and he says it may be the Transmission solenoid. If it is not that, he said it may be the transmission itself. If the solenoid is bad, what does that mean? Does this mean my transmission is going out?
