I guess the bearing is off back order. Did the part # remain the same? Does it look the exact same as the old bearing? I was thinking (hoping) that they were on back order because they were making some improvement.

It is Interesting what you noticed about the case bore.

I guess the rep from F.A.G. never got back to you, it would be nice if he had an interest in seeing your old bearing to try and explain the failure.

I wish I wasn't so anxious about getting it together last night. I do have to say, the Main Drive Gear is VERY SOLID now! Doesn't seem to be hanging up on anything. Of course it's not under load either....
