E ed g New member Jul 22, 2009 #2 many GM cars will have the same trans as yours. Have the VIN ready when you shop for a new/used unit. The VIN will tell all ya need

B bandit_60 New member Jul 22, 2009 #3 it don,t have to be from a buick. it can be a oldsmobile or pontiac but chevy won,t bolt up.
