My car is a 2002 dodge neon and has 105,000 miles. It has been babied all along and ran perfect. I always did repairs at the dealer. I woke up today and went for a drive and the car wont pick up speed very well and engine sounds really loud after 45mph. I took it to about 65mph but it got really loud. The car is stuck in the wrong gear. Maybe 3rd gear not sure. I would appreciate any advice on how to go about this and how much does a tranny cost to rebiuld. thank you.
I had my cluster replaced recently as it got burnt out from a wire. since then the light for the alarm wont go off on the new dash. I dont know if any of these have anything to do with it.
