Can someone please translate this to French for the new Kumo brochure? Thanks...
The Place de la Concorde is the major square which is located in Paris' eighth arrondissement. It was designed by Ange-Jaques Gabriel in 1755. The Place is filled with statues and fountains. It was named 'Place Louis XV' for the king. It was then renamed 'Place de la Revolution' where many people were hung. Including Marie Antoinette. There are three main objects in the octagon shaped square. They are:
•The 3300 year old Luxor Obelisk
•2 identical stone buildings
•Rue Royale
Did you know that in 2000 a french climber, using only his bare hands and feet and with no
safety devices, climbed the 23 meter high Luxor Obelisk?
