I've been doing research on transgender and queer gender and have found that except for transsexual being under the umbrella of transgender transgender is pretty much the same as queer gender. My belief is thatnthey're similar or related, but not the same, if they were then why the two different terms?
Could anyone explain the difference to me?
Also, would man who feels like both male and female, but mainly male and has a need to go on MtF HRT in order to express the female part of his identity, but he continues to live as a "he," completely, except for the HRT, be transgender or queer gender?
Trevor your answer helps some, but makes it more confusing. If queer gender is under the transgender umbrella then it is something more specific, I want to know what is queer gender?
