Transformers Movie (2007) Trailer

I'm looking forward to seeing it when it's released, although I agree that the trailer doesn't really give anything away! I hope they don't end up deviating from the original storyline of Autobot vs. Decepticon and they keep the key characters like Optimus Prime! :)
 
Everything you ever remember the Transformers as go out of the window in this film, it's a whole new TF universe based on present times, the only thing they are keeping close to the G1 series is 2 or 3 of the names and thats it really.
 
It's looking good so far. I do not mind them not sticking as long as it feels like Transformers.

I am soooooooooooo looking forward to seeing this. I have not been to the cinema since Star Wars BOTC but this will have me going back.

Roll on 12 months.
 
that Teaser was just ace!!

I actually dont think much has been made - hence not showing a lot. - i mean - it due to come out in over a year.

That Beadle thing - wasnt that the british probe that got lost?
 
It was British yeah, yet another movie claiming something of ours is American (U571..)

I thought the teaser was pretty poor actually, the Spiderman teaser was perfect. This was quite boring and looked like a documentory.

I hope to god that they dont have the Transformers from Mars! Lets just hope they are just their on some sort of recon :)
 
lol I don't quite understand it.....

So are they bad transformers going to transform into objects that resemble earth objects - such as cars....even though they're from space?

Are both good and bad transformers from space - or do humans create good transformers to fight the bad ones? :confused: :confused:
 
Basically the original story is like this, not sure if they are sticking to it for the movie.
The Autobots (Good guys) and the Decepticons (bad guys) travel the galaxy for new energy sources as their battleling on their home planet Cybertron depleted their sources. The Decepticons spaceship attacks the Autobots ship and they all crash land on Earth into a volcano. When this erupts it activates the computer on the ship which searches Earth for suitable things the transformers can turn into such as cars planes etc it reconfigures all the transformers to have an alternate mode. Both sides then are at war on Earth.
 
This was on Michael Bay Blog about the Transformers teaser trailer:

1- None of the Mars story, launch footage, and rover footage is going to be in the movie.

2.- Yes, Bay did shoot the rover footage."
 
As I said when this spammed (and check the posting history - it IS spam) the Spidey 3 thread, it's not even finished being made yet (ILM are just gone halfway through their workload). Wonder why these berks are pretending they've seen it?
