Transformers 848

So you know Shia LaBeous's contracts negotiations went like this:

And for section 7a of my contract I will have to have sex with the lead female......No.....okay then how about heavy petting.......No......okay then definite tongue action......No? That's it! I'm outta here.......wait I can at least kiss her right? Okay. I'm back on board.

Micheal Bay is not the king of action movies, he is the king of getting people to pay money to watch a 2 hour commercial. I mean dude come on, I can develop this movie in a second....'lets get a bunch of hot chicks with massive robots beating the crap out of each other...what about a story line??????Shit, who needs a story line! Oh and you know how we can make even more money?!? Lets get pepsi, verizon, ducati, chevy etc to pay us a bunch of money to put their poducts all over the film....DONE'.

And I know, its a movie about robots, its not meant to be a great intellectual trip, but give me a break.
There are so many better action movie directors, micheal mann, chris nolan, Sam Raimi to name a few, that take very basic ideas and fill them out to something that is interesting and does not piss all over my childhood!

Good points Jimmy,

If we really step back and look at the film, besides the special effects, CG and action scenes (which is some of the best stuff next to the Matrix Trilogy and some of the Marvel films), there really isn't much holding this movie together but a bunch of like us who grew up on it Michael Bay just happened to be the guy who put it together, so he gets the credit for it.

Moving on, I'm about to perform an ultra thread-jack combo, but.........What the fuck was Sam Raimi thinking when he made Spiderman 3

I'm sorry, but trying to squeeze what was easily another two film into one, was the worst move since the Power Glove for Nintendo.

Thoughts?

He did, in the way Spiderman usually gets beat up in the his films.....thrown through brickwalls, struck in the face with metal beams, slapped around by a subway train, hit by an explosive and point blank range......... But of course Spiderman is too strong for that to stop him

If he gets a few tears in his clothes all he needs is some encouraging words from Mary Jane and he is like new

That is the only thing, I hated that about the Spiderman movies.
