I had RadioFrequency Ablation in August 2008, it worked, but the pain has come back, i am going to have another one done some time next month. My PM doctor said it is effective for the back pain but not the leg pain. I was scared to death the first time I had the RFA and now I just consider it another procedure.
I am going back to PM next week for my second transforaminal injection of this series for the leg pain. I had two injections in Noveraber and it is time again. It seems that the sciatica comes back every 4-5 months. I had the Laminectomy for stenosis and thought that would take care of the sciatica but I guess I was wrong.
Does anyone else experience these symptoms as often and what is your diagnosis?

Transforaminal injections L4/5 & L5/S1 every 4 or 5 months since Laminectomy.
