Transferring acct & Starting new question

OK due to personal matters, I would like to transfer my account to my wife and start new at another address. Can someone tell me how flexible BEV is on allowing a customer to transfer an account to their wife starting up new at another address due to personal reasons... meaning getting any promotions that may be available at that time.

If your account is a rental it's not transferrable... You can change the billing name to her name, but the account will remain yours and only you could cancel the account so she will have to call you when your contract is up.

If your receivers are purchased we will close your account and opens a new one for Mrs. There would be a 35$ transfer charge for each receivers. If you have a contract there would be early termination applied. Still have the option to only change the billing name.


If you you have no contract you can simply terminate your account, which will be done 30 days after your call and say on the same call that she will take the receivers. Then she could open a new account calling our direct sales departement, taking one new receiver and getting new clients deal (currently 6 months at half price on a 2 years term). She will get free install that way, but will be on a 2 years term. She won't get that promotion if she jsut open an account with your receivers. She can also add your receivers to her account, but as I mention there is a 35$ transfer charge
 
Also if you want to keep those receiver we could move your service to your new location. We install the dish and 1st receiver free of charge and there is a 50$ additional receiver install charge. If you have a multiswitch you must bring it with you

Your wife could then open a new account and get new client deal
